About the Role
The Online Content Support Specialist will assist with overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and administration of multiple websites. Primary responsibilities include performing a range of IT, marketing and website development tasks to ensure organizations have functional website that represent the businesses well, are optimized for SEO and conversion, and that users can navigate easily. Website development tasks may include all aspects of a website including but not limited to blog posts, guest articles, images, reviews, videos, and subpages.
OCSS may be asked to develop program promotional materials, media ads, brochures, flyers and public service announcements within established guidelines, prepare displays, brochures, flyers, and other materials using desktop publishing software; may be asked to assist with making presentation
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of and ability to type accurately and rapidly; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to work effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds; ability to manage time effectively; ability to learn job duties quickly; ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; ability to pay attention to detail, ability to work independently; ability to manage and monitor a project; ability to stay on task.
Interest, experience, and/or degree in a field like computer science, IT, systems engineering, web development or a similar field a plus. Experience working with websites, and knowledge of digital marketing may also be helpful.
