Who we Are
The Alchemist Den is a metaphysical and wellness boutique intentionally created as a sanctuary for healing, self-discovery, and community care—rooted in service to Queer Communities of Color, LGBTQ+ women, transmasculine individuals, and all those seeking deeper connection, clarity, and alignment.
Our offerings include over 120 loose herbs, crystals, smudge wands, incense, ritual tools, books, and small-batch body, hair, and skin care—all crafted or curated with intention, ancestral wisdom, and energetic integrity. Much of what we sell is handmade in-house, honoring the tradition of earth-based healing and plant medicine.

Available Internship Positions

E-Commerce Inventory & Product Coordinator (2 Positions Available)
Responsibilities:

Audit and reconcile physical storefront inventory vs. online listings.

Photograph new and existing products for web use.

Upload and update product listings on platforms like Shopify, Wix, and Square.
-
Write/edit clear and compelling product descriptions.
-
Ensure SKU accuracy and maintain stock levels.
-
Collaborate with fellow intern and store team on seasonal updates.
Ideal Candidate: Organized, tech-savvy individuals with strong attention to detail and a shared vision for integrity in product storytelling. Should be comfortable with photography and backend systems.
Product Photographer & Content Assistant (Duo or 2 Roles)
Responsibilities:

Product Photographer: Shoot high-quality images of products in-store and off-site.

Ensure consistency in lighting, background, and styling.

Prepare edited images for digital and print use.

Content Assistant: Upload product photos and descriptions to our websites.

Format product listings and create metadata/tags.

Organize photo libraries for ease of team use.
Ideal Candidate: Creatives with a shared visual language and the ability to work in harmony. A deep love for aesthetic storytelling is a must.
Fashion Stylist, Brand & Partnership Assistant (1 Position Available)
Responsibilities:

Maintain the Founder’s personal and brand-aligned visual presence.

Coordinate wardrobe and appearance across events, media, and online.

Research and assist in seeking fashion/brand partnerships.

Support product development for fashion, grooming, and wellness lines.
-
Maintain lookbooks and stylist boards for upcoming collections.
Ideal Candidate: A stylish, brand-loyal visionary who can see the full picture and translate it into wardrobe, lifestyle, and partnership-building opportunities.
E-Commerce & Merchandising Intern (1 Position Available)
Responsibilities:

Write clear, SEO-optimized product copy.

Assist in site merchandising and promotions.

Learn how to build collections and landing pages.

Create and implement digital and social media content strategies.
Ideal Candidate: A creative storyteller with a flair for marketing, branding, and visual merchandising.
Retail Operations Intern or Assistant (1 Position Available)
Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day operations.

Reconcile product quantities on shelves vs. digital POS system.

Assist with labeling, organizing, restocking, staging, and product packaging.

Learn our POS and CRM tools.

Light duty cleaning tasks
Ideal Candidate: Detail-oriented, curious, and hands-on with a love for rhythm and flow in retail.
A Note from Our Founder
While these positions are currently unpaid, they are full-time, hybrid, and designed to give you real-world experience across e-commerce, fashion, retail, and wellness industries. It is our desire to transition these into paid roles in the near future.
